Nice spring weather continues out there with warmer temperatures expected through the end of the week as highs top out in the lower 100s again on Friday. West winds will continue with gusts 5-15 mph at times, mainly during the afternoons. High pressure will weaken over the holiday weekend and shift east as another trough slides by to our north. This will bring some cooling with gusty west winds to around 25 mph at times. The flow may temporarily shift from the south and southeast next week advecting some upper-level moisture into the region. While widespread convection is not expected, a few high-based thunderstorms could develop around the middle of the week. Otherwise, seasonal late spring weather is expected through the end of the month.
